You already have my CocaCola Brisket recipe, if you cook that for the Labor Day weekend you’ll need some deserts. I would like to give two different deserts that are easy to prepare and can be put in the oven after you take the Brisket out.
Cherry Crunch
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. lemon juice
½ cp. chopped nuts
1/2 cp. melted butter
Spread pie filling in the bottom of a greased 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine cake mix, nuts, and melted butter. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 – 50 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with ice cream.

In 8 X 8 pyrex dish or pan, mix Bisquick, milk and sugar. Pour peaches over batter. For blueberry cobbler, use 1 quart blueberries mixed with ½ cup sugar and 1 cup water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until brown.
