“Yeah, isn’t that pathetic?”

Boss and I were driving to another site, which we had been doing most of the day yesterday.

Out of nowhere he says, “We’re best friends, aren’t we?”

And I go, “Yeah, isn’t that pathetic?”

Both of us cracked up and continued to laugh on and off for the next couple of hours when we looked at each other.

Everyone thought we had stopped for a few drinks.

But we were just having some fun.

And it is pathetic.
